1. Multi-Texture Map Editing
You can now view and edit up to 6 texture maps individually: Color, Normal, Roughness, Displacement, Metalness, and Alpha.
How to use it:
- Open a fabric in the Image Editor.
- Go to the Texture Map dropdown menu on the bottom right corner.
- Select the map you want to view or edit.
Inspect each map in detail, quickly spot tiling issues, and fix them all in one place.
Note: The Color Map preview in NX Suite Image Editor combines Color, Normal, and AO effects for easier viewing. Downloads only include the original Color Map.
2. Customizable Background Colors
The background color can now be changed to improve visibility based on your fabric type.
How to use it:
- Open a fabric in the Image Editor.
- In the lower-right corner, choose a background color:
- Black – Best for transparent fabrics
- White – Best for dark fabrics
- Checker – Best for general contrast
Each fabric retains its background preference, so you only need to set it once.
3. AI Auto-Tiling
AI Auto-Tiling detects your fabric type the first time it’s uploaded (via the Premium Scanner or AI texture upload) and applies the most suitable tiling method automatically.
How it works:
- Upload a fabric to NX Suite.
- Open it in the Image Editor. The AI-selected tiling method will be applied automatically.
- Fabrics that have been auto-tiled will display an “Auto” label.
Undoing AI Auto-Tiling Selection
- Once you manually edit the tiling, the Auto label switches to Manual.
Reverting AI Auto-Tiling Selection
- Revert to the AI suggestion at any time by clicking Reset (unless you’ve used the Crop tool or synced edits from Photoshop).
- After using the Crop tool, you can restore the AI result via Reset.
- Photoshop-synced edits cannot be reverted.
Note: If your fabric image is too small or doesn’t meet size requirements, AI will automatically apply Minimal Repeat as default.
